Parsons Table

$595.00

The history of the Parsons Table is an interesting one. It actually has nothing to do with the “Parson” of a Church, which I always thought. although that didn’t make much sense to me. It was first designed in the 1930’s in Paris and was considered in the “Modernist” style. It’s specifications are that the 4 legs are square in cross section, flush with the edge of the top, and equal to it’s thickness. Normally we would not consider plywood as one of our main building materials, but finished Cherry plywood with Walnut trim worked out beautifully in this case. Contact us if you would like one of these beautiful tables made just to your specifications.
